It is a sad day for the Philippines as one of its famous people, ex President Cory Aquino passed away at age 76. She had been diagnosed with colon cancer. I am sure all Filipinos are mourning for her and her family. She was the first female Filipino president who was famous for having led a military backed popular revolt in 1986 that ousted a dictator who ruled the country for 20 years dubbed People Power.
Cory Aquino, widow of Senator Benigno Aquino Jr., will be remembered as an icon of democracy. My prayers are with Cory and her family. May you rest in peace.
This is actually a post from my hubby’s blog and he wanted me to post it in my blog as well to help spread this new way to earn via Twitter.
IZEA will be introducing in due time another new way to earn while using Twitter, called Sponsored Tweets. The concept is pretty simple, publishers will set their desired price for posting twits. Advertisers will look for publishers who match their criteria like technology, fashion, travel, etc. and have their advertisement messages posted in the publisher’s twitter account.
Signing up is free. The user interface is simple to use. Well, there is really nothing to it. You just sit back and wait till they contact you for any opportunities. You set your notification mode via private messaging within the site or via email. I chose email so I do not have to keep on logging in to the site. They also have featured Twitter accounts of famous celebrities, artists and more in case you want to follow them. The look and feel of the site looks a bit like Pay Per Post’s new user interface.
Twitter users now have another way monetize through IZEA’s Sponsored Tweets program. To join, you can click on the square advertisement on the upper left side of this page. There is a square 125×125 banner there with the name Sponsored Tweets.
I finally got to grab some photos in Facebook from our show last weekend called Sakura. I had fun during that time because it was also the very first time that I got to wear something Japanese relateed. It was not the traditional Kimono but sort of a modern version of Japan fashion. It was held in the Mogambo Springs at Plantation Bay Resort.
A designer from Singapore, Ana Liew (Tokyo Sky Collection) and Lotte Delima Edwards took part in this show while models from MAC and AD strutted the catwalk. There were also Singaporean models too. I forgot to bring my digital camera with me so I do not have any photos of us goofing and hanging around the resort just before the show.
