It was my first time to be hospitalized and I did not even expect that to happen to me that early. But it did. I thought I was pregnant at first but then I had my period which made me think that I was wrong and it was a false alarm. But after a few days the pain still persisted so my mother in law told me to go to the hospital and have myself checked.
I was afraid too that something may be wrong with me. It had been a few weeks already that I have not had my period so I was thinking maybe I am indeed pregnant. When I had my period I was disappointed, thinking … back to the drawing board. But when I checked in the hospital as an in-patient, it was then that I learned that I am indeed pregnant.
Tears of joy. I was happy that I am pregnant. The one thing that my hubby and I had longed for: having our own baby. I am sure that my parents as well as his are as excited as we are. What to name, what to name. Maybe for now, I will just call my soon to be baby, my bundle of joy.
Are you going to take part in Earth Hour today? Well, tonight actually at the time of this writing. Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund) and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.
This is a very good practice that clearly needs a worldwide cooperation and the WWF cooked up an amazing thing that definitely can help awareness with regards to global warming. So what about you? Are you going to take part in this annual event?
A number of countries are taking part for Earth Hour 2010 and who knows, next year the number of countries who will participate could increase.

I used to watch the classic cartoon version of Alvin and the Chipmunks so when I first heard they were going to make a live action movie of it, I was so excited. Even after watching the first movie, I could not help but think that a sequel could be in the works. And I was right. No surprise that the second movie features the Chipettes. They are all just so adorable. Plus their voices all the more make them lovable!
I definitely am going to get this one so my kids and I can watch this again and again. If your kids have not seen this movie yet, be sure to add it in your collection. They will surely have a blast!
There is also this neat page where you can customize your chipmunk by adding props to them like clothes, caps, shades and more! I had to bookmark it because my kids kept wanting to change Alvin’s overall getup.
