Ah … Spa!

massageIt seems that lately my husband and I have been having massages at least once a month. We all need a massage once in awhile to relieve us of stress and make us relaxed. Massage is known to affect the circulation of blood and the flow of blood and lymph, reduce muscular tension or flaccidity, affect the nervous system through stimulation or sedation, and enhance tissue healing.

These can provide a number of benefits like reduction of muscle tension and stiffness, relief of muscle spasms
greater flexibility and range of motion, increase of the ease and efficiency of movement and relief of stress and aide of relaxation. These are just a few of the benefits of having a massage.

Doesn’t it feel great especially when the therapist’s thumbs presses against your back and neck? While there are therapists who do not provide good service, once you get to find one who works well with you, you should stick with him/her. It sucks that you still have to pay in full if you are not satisfied with a therapist’s massage.

Finding a good spa is not easy. I’d say it will be a case of trial and error until you find the right therapist who can give you a really good massage.
