Are you going to take part in Earth Hour today? Well, tonight actually at the time of this writing. Earth Hour is a global event organized by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature, also known as World Wildlife Fund) and is held on the last Saturday of March annually, asking households and businesses to turn off their non-essential lights and other electrical appliances for one hour to raise awareness towards the need to take action on climate change.
This is a very good practice that clearly needs a worldwide cooperation and the WWF cooked up an amazing thing that definitely can help awareness with regards to global warming. So what about you? Are you going to take part in this annual event?
A number of countries are taking part for Earth Hour 2010 and who knows, next year the number of countries who will participate could increase.
