faa018000613For the ladies who have painless menstruations, you should be lucky. But for those who oftentimes complain of “Dysmenorrhea” well you or we should be at least aware of what it has to do with our body and how to avoid or minimize the pain.

Dysmenorrhea is a pain or discomfort experienced before or during menstrual period. I have never experienced such pain before. But this time it hit me and I could not explain how painful It was and how to deal with the kind of pain it gave me.

It was during our short vacation to Manila last week. It was fun but something very unexpected happened. I had my 1st day of period on our 2nd day in Manila. While strolling around one of the Malls in Manila, I suddenly felt this heavy cramps just below my stomach. Luckily I was with my sister-in-law when I fainted and lost control of my body. The worst pain I have ever experienced in my entire life.

Maybe next to giving birth! lol So she asked for an assistance for me to be brought to the mall’s clinic and be given first aid attention. I was given a pain killer and hot compress to take away the pain. Thank God I was safe after everything that had happened.

In my next blog I will try to make a research regarding this topic for public’s information.

  1. I don’t have“Dysmenorrhea” but I only feel a little pain when my menstruation is coming or during my period. I always drink tea during my period. This herbal tea was given to me by the midwife who assisted me during delivery of my first bb. Since then I drink this tea. I do not know the English term for this tea since it is in Dutch.
Maybe you should drink some herbal medicines.
