Victoria’s Secret 2010 Fashion Show

I am looking forward to watching Victoria’s Secret fashion show 2010 when it airs end of this month. I have been watching this for 3 straight years now and whenever the models strut their stuff on the catwalk, somehow, revs up the crowd making the show even more entertaining.

If you search the Internet now, you can see photos during the show. This was actually pre-taped live but will be aired later within this month. Guests include Katy Perry and Akon. A known figure is absent this time. Long time Victoria’s Secret angel Heidi Klum has made it clear last year was her last.

I really love her and even though at that age she is still beautiful. It would have been better to see her ramp on the catwalk. Their fashion shows never disappoint me and this year is no exception. I know it’s going to be good when I watch it.

Museo Sa Sugbo

museoAugust 13, 2009 Tuesday, another remarkable event as part of the City’s month-long celebration of its 440th founding anniversary, Governor Gwen Garcia led the opening of Museo sa Sugbo. This museum used to be the old Cebu Provincial Detention and Rehabilitation Center. Now, this place will be a house of the province’s culture and heritage. The event also showcased our Festival Queens from different municipalities, and with Cebu’s top models who elegantly wore Cebu’s well-known designers’ collections. The fashion show simply showed how the Cebuano people have evolved in terms of fashion, from the “Karaang Sugbo”, “Sugbo Karun”, and “Kasal sa Sugbo”. Cebu as it is now, I can proudly say that I am a Sugboanun.

King Of Swaziland

kingLast week, I had two shows in a row. Quite busy, right? We had a short fashion show as part of Cebu Philippines’ 440th founding anniversary celebration. The King of Swaziland, King Mswati was supposed to visit Cebu to grace the event. Unfortunately, the king was not able to make it and was represented by his Excellency Mpumelelo Hlophe, Swazi Ambassador to Malaysia.

It was just a short ceremony started with a cocktail in front of the Capitol building where the guests awaited the arrival of Governor Gwen Garcia. After the welcome dance presentation, everyone proceeded to the Social hall to witness the recognition for this years Garbo sa Sugbo awardees.

Everything was perfect except that I was not able to get some photos of the event because I forgot to bring my camera with me. Hopefully I can grab some photos from the photographers who were there during the ceremony (lol). Stay tuned.
